Mayor of New Haven, Toni Harp, joined us on honoring our KHAIR Graduates this Spring.
“I couldn't believe I could get my hair done and learn so much about myself at the same time.”
“The clients become alive in the KHAIR program, self-confidence peaks. I have seen kids with serious social anxiety blossom.”
“At first I couldn’t believe it. I was like that is great. It was all aspects into one – dress for success, teaching financial ability, the etiquette course. It was so well rounded. My daughter got really excited about it and so did I.”
—KHAIR Kid Parent
“I thought it was awesome. It’s a great opportunity for me to get to know things I didn’t know before.”
